Feedburner Partners With TypePad

Feedburner and TypePad will announce a partnership on Thursday that will allow TypePad users to automatically redirect their existing TypePad RSS feed into Feedburner. Until now, if a TypePad user wanted to transfer RSS subscribers to a Feedburner RSS feed (and take advantage of Feedburner stats for those subscribers), each subscriber to the old feed would be required to change their subscription to the new feed. Since subscribers have little incentive to do this, many Feedburner publishers end up managing multiple RSS feeds over time. This partnership will save them the hassle of doing that.

Look for more partnerships like this from Feedburner over time. Details on the partnership are here.

Any idea when this goes out? As someone who sets up a lot of Typepad blogs for other people, I’m hoping it’ll get easier to convince them to sign up for Feedburner.

Hei that is good news - I was just about to try to explain to another person how not to use their coming typepad account with that feed but a feedburner one. :)

And yes, I do love feedburner too. Like every serious person with a blog and podcasts. In fact, I am thinking about purchasing something from them even though I do not really need it - because I want to make sure they stay in business. :)

Not bad, since TypePad maybe a little “far from” my using experience, what I consider more is, will feedburner perform a sever upgrade after this corporation in order to handle more and more rss request from typepad integrated users ? I feel feedburner just a little slow in connection.

I think this is a very natural partnership and it is so much easier for typepad users get feed stats hopefully without much configuration.
I hope to see more partnership like this, helping to improve user experinces.

I was expecting something like this to come about. I’m sure well see more partenerships between blog engines and feed targeted sites too.
