The new page sucks and I agree that Yahoo should include a link to the old page and then simply track how many people stay with the old format. To switch back you must go to “tools”, “delete browsing history”, “delete all”, click the box: “Also delete files and settings stored by add-ons”, click “yes”. Then close the browser and reopen. Unfortunately the jerks at Yahoo screwengineered it so that each time you open a new tab the new Yahoo page shows up and you must go through this procedure each time to get the old page back. I agree with the above posts, I may just pull up my mail from a shortcut in the future. – Take that – Yahoo advertising dollars!

Please don’t get rid of the old page. I won’t stay with yahoo if I only have the new choice. that list on the left interferes when I try to choose from my favorites and I end up having to wait for autos or whatever to completely download before closing it and trying once more to get the favorite that I was trying to choose in the first place. I don’t like choosing anything from that list on the left because my mouse may accidentally linger too long on the wrong topic and once again I have to wait for whatever before trying again.;

The “switch to old page” isn’t showing up on my screen anywhere. I’ve been searching for it (since that’s what I clicked when I got stuck with the beta test), but it’s gone.

Thanks for nothing.

And yes, I do hate the new page. It’s too busy. I only keep going to yahoo since that’s where I get my email. I guess I need to switch to gmail.

It is obvious that Yahoo is down and out in the last quarter and has no choice but to launch a ‘Hail Marry” play. Being a yahoo user since the beginning (back when we used Gopher) I can see where they have gone wrong and too no surprise so does Yahoo, although they’ll never admit it. It is easy enough to prove just look at the original yahoo. http://search.yahoo.com/
Not much different then Google. Or should I say Google is not much different from the original design of yahoo. I am not a Google lover, I’ve always beleived that Google capitalized on this #1 Yahoo error.
