I’m Going on Vacation

I am leaving tonight on a long overdue vacation. Nik Cubrilovic has accepted my my invitation to guest blog for TechCrunch in my absence over the next ten days.

Nik is the founder of Omnidrive, a company I have written about here on TechCrunch, and also has his own popular blog at nik.com.au. He’s promised to keep things controversial, but he will not be writing about anything even remotely competitive to his Omnidrive.

See you all in March!

“but he will not be writing about anything even remotely competitive to his Omnidrive”

    What’s new?

Techcrunch is getting more interesting and fun everyday. Congrats on keeping the hype up, and have fun wherever you are going… where are you going btw? Will we have pix?

    Bon Voyage!

Hey Nik, you need to redesign the place while Mike’s away. Redo the logo in green and gold with a koala, stick a GIF of a six-pack of Carlton Draughts down the side, and end each post with “… and if yez don’t like it, get a dog up yez!”

Have a nice break, Mike. Looking forward to your posts, Nik (and Omnidrive, too!).

Why does no one understand that Mike is actually *pretending* to go on hol ?

Why ? Because otherwhise he wouldn’t be able to post a review of Edgeio on Techcrunch once it’s released….

    You don’t believe me ?

From Nik’s blog: “[…] edgio (which is launching next week - expect a full review)” - whereas less than a week ago Mike wrote “Because of the clear conflict of interest I won’t be writing about edgeio that much on TechCrunch”

But I’d love to be wrong, and Mike is surely going on hol the very week Edgeio is released… Btw where are you going on hol, Mike ?

    Do consider prolonging your vacation.

I think that without the time CEOs spend on reading Techcrunch instead of working the entire Web 2.0 industry will boom.

    (just kidding)

I write @ Linkadelic Magazine, you can too.

Ooooo a conspiracy! Mike had facial reconstructive surgery so that he can write about edgeio. That is him in the picture..

Go Nik! Our plans for the covert takeover of the US tech blogosphere continue according to schedule. Doh! I’ve disclosed! I’ll execute myself…

  18. Keith Teare

Nope, Mika has really gone. Matt, Vidar and myself are handling the week without him. Well deserved and …. we’ll be fine :-)
