Fleck is either a joke, or a real service trying to be humorous during the pre-launch period. Either way, it’s funny.
Fleck is: patent pending, world changing, paradigm shifting and user experience enhancing technology. Tagging, search, blog and social networking, every WEB2.0 hype is covered.
While the Fleck homepage suggests its a joke by naming every web 2.0 buzzword (above), the blog is more serious. And it’s a terrific domain name to waste on a joke.

I assumed it was a dig at Flock
So much blogging, hyping and site designing occured before they even BEGAN the hackery…
Almost every hype. He forgot ajax.
Sounds solid, boris the founder is in the Netherlands.. He is well connected.. very interesting to see how this goes.. Issue may be on the PR and Marketing side eventually
Hi all, Fleck is no joke but we do have a sense of humor. Sign up for our Beta program and we will contact you as soon as we have our plug-in working. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact me: boris@fleck.com
Hi guys. I’d like to announce flack.it which is a mashup of fleck and flock. We are so super secret we aren’t even collecting email addresses yet. Call it a pre-signup-alpha.
Paul - Good one.
Not being able to sign up, of course, just makes me want to sign up more.
I’m still waiting for a beta invite to my own project. Cool huh?
In all serious, no disrespect to Fleck, I am just having a bit of fun with all this fun madness. Hopefully Fleck does turn out to be a good project.
(Though I hope they are not to gung-ho on the patent side.)
Knowing Boris from “Hubhop” fame (a wi-fi network play he sold to the Dutch national telecom incumbent) and previous ventures, I doubt he is up to spend his time on jokes..
Wait and see..
Ok, I’ve had multiple confirmations that this is the real deal. Great!
I think it is rather a way to crea interest before flock browser beta releases.
It’s got competition now – Vojosalsa
The market is getting tight

nice Fleckr*
Bring it On!!******************
I am so excited about the excitement of this project!
God the irony - there is a lot of hype around this already and we still have no idea what it is.
From the blog:
“We would have never dreamed of creating a small hype and even getting featured on our favorite weblog: TechCrunch…. sign-ups for the beta going through the roof.”
What is wrong with you people? Web2.0 is officially out of control.
I appreciate fleck’s sense of humor, but you guys are nuts.
Boris is a pal. I sat down with him a couple times this fall on Fleck. He’s funny, but he’s certainly not kidding.

I know Boris pretty good and this is no joke. Nor has it anything to do with LinkCloud (sorry About I Write), allthough LinkCloud is a funny app as well.
Give Boris and his team some time to finalise the beta, sign up for it and judge than. For what he told me, it’s gonna be pretty cool.
Those hacks nicked our gag…
…we do however have our service heading towards launch now. Took long enough mind.
I have known Boris for a little while - so I think it’s a very safe bet that Fleck is going to make an impact.
Take a look at Boris’ profile on his own creation, http://preople.com/boris and, even though he is sometimes kidding, he is a serious, clever, and very imaginative guy.
If he has a patent pending on Fleck, and he says he does, then he does. And you all know what patents are for…
fleck (or how to boost the traffic of your blog)
this boris is the same guy behind weblogistan.com, where he offers the link cloud (same thing as del.icio.us) and the useless “kick my butt” counter. all he does on this site is collecting e-mail addresses, same in feck. something is not good here…
no ground breaking and shaking. clever marketing though
Funny how all of the sudden ten people start a comment with “i know Boris”.
It’s a joke…
Hey - did anyone bother to check out why Boris is in New York tomorrow? With four white suits? And is releasing fleck?
