Nick is correct, he does need to cool down a bit. I also notice this type of behavior on the SvN blog all of the time.

Many people seem to get irritated when they (37signals) announce features or products and they write them off as marketing mumbo-jumbo. It's hilarious to me.

Mark, you need to relax. When an application as widely used as Basecamp adds a new feature, I belive it is at least slightly plausible that this would be worth mention on a Web 2.0 blog... but maybe I'm crazy.

We're not calling file uploads a miracle. There's no mention of miracle, or revolution, or anything like that.

We've just made it easier for people to upload files to Basecamp. That's all.

No outrageous claims here, just a new feature that helps people use Basecamp better.

Oh, and another thing.

On your blog, you're going on about file uploads as if you've come up with some sort of miracle.

Do you realise that people have been, uh, you know, uploading files to websites pretty much since the inception of the Internet?

How is this TechCrunch-worthy? Is it because it has "37signals" written on it?

We're hard at work on the "CRM-ish" tool. Stay tuned.
