TechCrunch Turns 6 Months Old Today
by Michael Arrington on December 11, 2005

TechCrunch turned six months old today - my first post was on June 11, 2005. It’s more fun than ever. Thank you to everyone who reads my blog. Knowing people are out there keeps me going.

I got a nice half birthday present yesterday from Technorati. :-)

Congrats on the milestone, the first of many to come as Web 2.0 continues to activate a larger fan base of readers…

Congratulations. I’ve been doing a terrific job.

Mike, what you’ve achieved is amazing.
- 15K readers
- Technorati 100
- WSJ and other articles
- You’ve essentially become “Web 2.0 Central”

Sooooo… where will you be by the 1st anniversary? :-)
Congrat’s.

Congrats!! Keep up the good work.

Zoli, In a home for the mentally insane, after I finish my 10,000th profile (100 of which are ajax desktops) and finally have my nervous breakdown. Will you visit me? :-)

Congratulations! I just started visiting this blog a few days back. Great job!

Sorry, I meant to say that YOU are the one doing a terrific job.

Cheers.

Are you going to share any more stats with us? Would love to hear more about the traction of TechCrunch since I have been following it closely from day one.

Congrats on all your success and thanks for the excellent coverage that you continue to provide.

Congratulations! Thanks for all the info thus far, and thanks for all the info yet to come!

Congrats on 6 months of grrrreat blogging. :)

Great stuff — Congratulations!

Wow I’m amazed that you’ve achieved so much in just six months. Keep up the hardwork.

Why don’t you add some adverts to your site? I recently added a few to my blog which has no where near the traffic you do, but it still generates a decent amount of cash. I just think it would be a shame if you didn’t get some payback for your hard work. I bet you could quit your day job and become a full-time blogger if you did!

Congratulations Michael.

I really appreciate your hard work.

This really is rapid development. Great job!

Happy birthday,

Congrats!! Keep up the good work.

Congratulations! I’m a big fan of the site. Keep up the good work!

Michael,

Congratulations! Your blog is in my top five must-reads every morning. Great job on creating an addiction.

Congrats Michael! You are a great resource in the Web 2.0 world.

Michael, not to leech on your traffic but I couldn’t resist a response.

“- You’ve essentially become “Web 2.0 Central””

Should I take that as a compliment? :D

Or perhaps you should be taking it as an insult… LOL!

Maybe I’m being overly melancholy, but it seems my grandblog is growing up very fast.

Michael –

Congratulations. TechCrunch has fast become my favorite technology blog. Your insights are fantastic and it’s the only blog I read (there are many), that I have to read before I start my work day. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Congratulations on the anniversary. Here’s some interesting news about the impact of technology.
