I recently spoke with one of the founders of Sponit, a new service that will be launching in the next month or so. Sponit, which is being created by three U.C. Berkeley students, is an innovative new group “blogging” platform that is quite addictive.
As I’ve said before, I’m a sucker for the closed-beta, give-us-your-email page. But I’ve also had the chance to test sponit. It’s still in the very early stages, but its an interesting application and adds to the overall web 2.0 discussion.

“As I’ve said before, I’m a sucker for the closed-beta, give-us-your-email page.”
Hehe. That’s why I’m launching Email Harvester Beta - a simple way to harvest email addresses from the unsuspecting early adopter crowd. It’s in closed beta right now, but you can enter your email address on our sign-up page.
Pete, Good idea. Put me on the advisory board.
Their logo makes me think my eyesight is bad…
>Their logo makes me think my eyesight is bad…
It looks fine to me.
the text is supposed to be blurry. the logo on the actual site is way smaller than the one posted on techcrunch or on our temporary site so it might not seem as bad when we launch.
send me any suggestions if you have them or want to test out the site.
oh yea at: shaz@sponit.com
Not a very descriptive review Mike… what’s addictive? Don’t leave us guessing… more coming?
no no 4 is right..the logo does that to my eyes .too..but anyway what is so addictive about the blogging platform??
the logo makes me want to puke! bring it back into focus please. …
So what is it they actually do? Or doesn’t that matter?
This is just silly. The description of sponit is “web 2.0 redefined.” I should give my email address to a site that declares no intent other than to redefine something that already has too many definition? The clearest thing about sponit is its logo.
another beta i signup is kolablog.com, got some pretty cool stuffs they offer
