TechWeb has opened nominations for its second annual BLOG-X Award. All technology blogs that are published independently of a major publishing company are eligible, and the ten blogs that receive the most nominations by December 9, 2005 will have the chance to win the award. You can nominate up to five blogs.

Hmm, should we categorize you as Other > Web 2.0? Also, what else are TechCrunch readers nominating? I’m a fan of Lifehacker.com and I doubt I need to mention engadget or slashdot (although I find slashdot’s discussion to be way too crowded, so I don’t visit that site very often). Don’t know of engadget and slashdot count as being independent of a publisher, either.
