[...] I used to write a weekly wrapup on TechCrunch. I’d bookmark interesting web 2.0 stuff during the week, and sit down on Sunday evening and write about all of it. You can see the old posts here. I’ve stopped doing it. I can now use this blog to write about interesting stuff as it happens instead of waiting until the weekend when no one really cares any more. [...]

I found another intresting site www.filetransfer.in which combines rapidshare and yousendit. Looks clean and neat, add more to it has fast servers.

Regarding Inform.com and the negative reaction it got should be a lesson to web 2.0 developers and venture capital - Stop thinking (1) big is better and (2) nice suits and presentation is a key indicator to startup success.

From what I've read, they have 55 people to run a web operation that mostly aggregate content!? This is 99% of their issue. What the heck you need 55 people for?!

The other 1% is the fact they could have just outsource the aggregate content gather and just focus on presentation/UI (Think Steve Jobs and iPod). But I bet the VCs wanted to see a multi-million dollar business plan, not a practical one that would cost under 500K.

They launched a business like it's 1999!
