TechCrunch MeetUp Tonight

We had a TechCrunch BBQ tonight in Atherton, California. It started off as an informal get together but ended up with quite a few web 2.0 entrepreneurs and bloggers. Entertainment included Costco hamburgers and many bottles of good California wine.

Attendees included Jeff Clavier, Clarence Wooten, Chad Hurley, Michael Duran, Nivi, Frederico Oliveira, Daniel Gould & Brian Norgard (cool new startup to come soon), Tim Kay, Keith Teare, Drew Dunlevie and others.

Discussion ranged from Marx v. Reality to what’s new in Web 2.0. We’re looking forward to doing this every week and inviting more entrepreneurs. Thanks everyone for attending.

We need to do this more often while I’m around, actually. I guess everyone that dropped by is invited for next week anyway, so I’ll roll out the contacts and get even more people to show up next time.

It was a good time. Interesting Web 2.0 discussions around the fire pit. I look forward to seeing some of the bull shit that was discussed materialize into hot companies. In all seriousness… it was a great time.

Thanks for hosting, Mike. Great times. Keith asked me to tell you that everyone should feel free to bring their pets next time.
