[...] I’ve used Searchfox every day since Sept. when TechCrunch did their first review of it. This is a service that worked well and did what it was made to do, be an RSS reader. Last night I had loggen in to see a message that they would be shutting down. Not having time to write in my blog I sent a quick email to Michael @ TechCrunch to see if he had heard of this and maybe if he had any other info. Seem I and one other had sent him the scoop.I now have to find another RSS reader, it needs to be online so I can access it from anywhere. One thing I would also like to see in a reader is a “parkinglot”. Many times i’m doing a quick scan of new articles but don’t have the time to blog about it. throw it in the parkinglot ot to be blogged area and pick it back up in a couple hours. I will be trying a couple different RSS readers in the coming weeks and will be adding a review. Technorati Tags: RSS Reader, Searchfox, shutdown, TechCrunch, Web 2.0 [...]

Ouch, I ve been using this RSS reader almost since the launch, but I ve just learnt it is closing down....How am i going to sort in no time the 200 feeds i have? argghhh!!!! So Mike two things.
Do you have any idea hy they are closing down (financing? anything else? - I have already tried to contact Esteban Kovacs for some answers) and secondly, do you have in your web2.0 cardboxes anything similar as Searchfox?
Looking forward to read you!

[...] Findory is squarely attacking the current efforts by Attensa, SearchFox, Personal Bee and others to present your feed information in a more intelligent and useful way. The standard readers quite simply don’t work for power users with 100+ feeds any more - and companies are trying very hard to find ways of sorting through this information for you before you start to read.
