I've been using Airset for several months and really like it, especially the "free" part. I have a calendar for each member of my family, for work, for a particulra project at work, and one for "fyi/maybe" things, e.g., cousins in town, someone's birthday, an event I may want to go to.

My problem with any calendar app online (I haven't tested Hula, but I have tested Trumba, for example) is when you have a lot of data in any given day.

I just haven't seen a good implementation yet. Especially when you're talking about tasks that -span- days and not just appointments/events per day (where there's a pre-defined maximum # of slots available).

Airset has been up and running and offers a rich shared calendar/tabbed workspace model - that instantly rollsup into one view of your life. It has has features to sync with PDAs and Outlook, and a mobile phone client.

All this is free (no $40/month). The only charges are for the optional phone client.

The Hula Project is an open source groupware application that provides calendaring and mail services that is developed by Novell by a great bunch of GNOME hackers. The website is http://www.hula-project.org/Hula_Server and a great article about it is located here: http://software.newsforge.com/article.pl?sid=05/04/18/2024247&tid=74&tid=132
