Another company out there has a similar website called myzeek.com. Except they have a credibility rating they developed to make sure that the people being referred are qualified for the positions they are being referred too. It seems like a more efficient way to hire the right people faster. They charge a fee of $25.00 per position posted but thats for 30 days, as opposed to a Craigs list who charges $25.00 for only 10 days, and bounties start at $250.00 not the $2000 that some companies MUST pay as finders fee to post.

Mike - Thanks for profiling YorZ and for the compliments. Adding a search box to BountyRoll is a great idea - we'll add it to our enhancement queue! Let us know if you (and your growing number of readers) have any other suggestions.

As you mentioned, we always waive our $10 listing fee for listings that offer a bounty of $50 or more. If any TechCrunch readers want to try YorZ without a bounty, though, they can use promo code "techcrunch" for the next week and post for free without a bounty.

Best,

Brian

[...] Tech Crunch (a wonderful blog that profiles new companies… beats what Red Herring tried to be) writes up YorZ, which enables employers to pay bounties for recommendations that end up filling jobs. I wonder how this could be gamed (my friend recommends me and I get a kickback) but it’s still a fascinating execution of an obvious notion. It takes LinkedIn and puts your money where your mouth is. I suspect this works uniquely in employment, since that’s about personal recommendations. I hope it won’t work in dating, since that comes dangerously close to pimping. I doubt it works in consumer products and services, and there the potential for corruption is high. But it’s a fascinating exploitation of an opening in the new marketplace. [...]
